President Trump gave himself a stellar health review Tuesday after he left the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where he got his annual medical and dental exam.
“Just finished my 6 month physical at Walter Reed Military Medical Center. Everything checked out PERFECTLY. Thank you to the great Doctors and Staff!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
Trump, 79, underwent a “routine” assessment as part of his “regular preventative health care,” the White House said.
A memo of the exam results is typically sent out by the White House, but there’s been no details on when that will be released.
Questions have been raised about the president’s health during his second term. Trump turns 80 next month and is the oldest person to be elected president.
Tuesday’s visit to Walter Reed will be his third in 13 months.

He last visited the national medical center in October for a “secondary” physical exam and cognitive test. He also went in April 2025 for his annual exams.
There was some confusion after he told The Wall Street Journal that he received a CT scan during the visit after saying previously that he had undergone an MRI.
Physician to the president Sean Barbabella said at the time that it was a CT scan to “definitely rule out any cardiovascular issues.”
“The president agreed, and our team of consultants performed a CT scan,” Barbabella said. “As we revealed in the post examination report, the advanced imaging was perfectly normal and revealed absolutely no abnormalities.”
Last year, Trump received an ultrasound of his veins, and the White House later said he has chronic venous insufficiency, a condition in older people that makes it harder for blood to travel up the body.
Still, the president is often photographed with makeup on his hands to cover up bruising, which he has said is caused by aspirin that he takes daily.
He takes around 325 milligrams a day for “cardiac prevention,” Barbabella has said.
