The infamous incident prompted numerous headlines and a discussion about privacy and personal conduct in the internet age

The married tech CEO spotted on camera this summer with his arms wrapped around one of his employees at a Coldplay concert has been spending time with his wife, new photos show — months after the unusual incident consumed the internet and made numerous headlines.

Andy Byron was first seen with Kristin Cabot at the concert in Massachusetts in July; the two were then working as CEO and chief people officer, respectively, at Astronomer.

Once there were put on the so-called “kiss cam,” Byron, 51, and Cabot, 53, tried to hide from view (he even tried to duck completely out of frame), prompting Coldplay’s Chris Martin to joke from stage that they might be having an “affair.”

Both of them stepped down from Astronomer when the moment went massively viral. "Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met," the company said after Byron's resignation.

A month later, Cabot, who was already separated from, and living apart, from her husband, Andrew, filed for divorce.

A source close to her later insisted to PEOPLE that she and Byron were not romantically involved and that the spotlight on both families — and their kids — had been “devastating.”

“It was inappropriate to be hugging your boss at a concert, and she accepts full responsibility for it,” the source said. “But the scandal, the downfall, the loss of the job — all of that is unfair.”

Byron has not publicly commented on what happened or responded to requests from PEOPLE. But he and his wife, Megan, were seen together several times last week in Maine, according to photos published by The Daily Mail. Among their shared outings was a beach picnic and a walk.

Both of them were also wearing their wedding rings and neither of them appears to have filed for divorce, according to a review of court filings by PEOPLE.

The Coldplay concert incident stoked a wider discussion about privacy in the internet age and what behavior by private figures should invite public scrutiny.

“These are real people and real families,” the source close to Cabot told PEOPLE. “The way people have taken a lot of enjoyment at their expense, it's hard to see.”
